🏃♂️🐅 Bentonville High School Athletics is excited to announce Marshall Starr as our new Head Girls Track and Field Coach!
Coach Starr is entering his 11th year of coaching cross country and track & field, including the past 7 years at Bentonville High School as the Assistant Varsity Girls Cross Country Coach and Head Freshman Girls Track & Field Coach.
During his time at BHS, Coach Starr has overseen the development of our sprinters, hurdlers, and sprint relay teams, including the state record-holding 4x200-meter relay team of Leah Todorova, Morgan Langley, Olivia Hartman, and Gressa Hoyord, who set the Arkansas state record with a time of 1:39.44.
Since joining the Bentonville program in the fall of 2020 under Coach Randall Ramaker, the Tigers have captured 4 Cross Country State Championships, 4 Indoor Track & Field State Championships, and 5 Outdoor Track & Field State Championships.
Coach Starr earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and his master’s degree in Teaching Secondary Science, along with a coaching endorsement, from the University of Arkansas.
Marshall and his wife, Brynne, are proud parents to their two children, Audrey and Soren.
