Coach Watts currently serves as the 8th Grade Head Coach at Washington Junior High and previously led Enid High School’s 6A volleyball program in Oklahoma. Throughout his coaching career, he has developed numerous athletes who have gone on to compete at the collegiate level. A teacher at Bentonville High School, Coach Watts is passionate about developing competitive athletes, building a championship-caliber culture, and helping Tiger Volleyball pursue excellence. He believes athletics provide an opportunity to reinforce Bentonville High School’s pillars of Integrity, Growth, and Service while preparing student-athletes for success both on and off the court. ‼️New Head Tiger Boys/ Girls Swim Coach Morgan Luther‼️ Coach Luther brings 13 years of coaching and teaching experience, including 11 years in Fayetteville Public Schools and 2 years in Fort Smith Public Schools. Most recently, she served as a basketball coach and physical education teacher at Fayetteville High School, helping lead programs to multiple conference and state championships while developing student-athletes both on and off the court. In addition to her coaching background, Coach Luther brings over 20 years of swim instruction and aquatics experience, including swim team coaching, private lessons, and water safety instruction for athletes throughout Northwest Arkansas. Known for her passion for student development, relationship-building, and creating positive team cultures, Coach Luther is excited to lead the Bentonville High School Swim program and continue its tradition of excellence. 🏀🐅 WELCOME COACH PASLAY TO BENTONVILLE TIGER BASKETBALL! 🐅🏀 Bentonville High School is excited to announce Drew Paslay as our new 9th Grade Girls Basketball Coach! A Northwest Arkansas native, Coach Paslay played basketball at Fayetteville and brings valuable coaching experience to our program. He spent three years at Gravette serving as the Head Junior High Boys Coach, Head JV Coach, and Assistant Varsity Coach. Most recently, he spent the past two years at Fulbright Junior High, coaching both the 7th and 8th grade girls basketball teams. Coach Paslay earned his degree in History, along with a minor in History and a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Secondary Education from the University of Arkansas. 🏃‍♂️🐅 Bentonville High School Athletics is excited to announce Marshall Starr as our new Head Girls Track and Field Coach! Coach Starr is entering his 11th year of coaching cross country and track & field, including the past 7 years at Bentonville High School as the Assistant Varsity Girls Cross Country Coach and Head Freshman Girls Track & Field Coach. During his time at BHS, Coach Starr has overseen the development of our sprinters, hurdlers, and sprint relay teams, including the state record-holding 4x200-meter relay team of Leah Todorova, Morgan Langley, Olivia Hartman, and Gressa Hoyord, who set the Arkansas state record with a time of 1:39.44. Since joining the Bentonville program in the fall of 2020 under Coach Randall Ramaker, the Tigers have captured 4 Cross Country State Championships, 4 Indoor Track & Field State Championships, and 5 Outdoor Track & Field State Championships. Coach Starr earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and his master’s degree in Teaching Secondary Science, along with a coaching endorsement, from the University of Arkansas. Marshall and his wife, Brynne, are proud parents to their two children, Audrey and Soren. Bentonville High School Athletics is excited to announce our new Head Girls Cross Country Coach, Trista McGinley-Crane! 🐅 Coach McGinley-Crane most recently served at Bentonville High School as our Varsity Assistant Track & Field Coach, Head 9th Grade Cross Country Coach, and IB Coordinator. She brings 18 years of cross country and track & field coaching experience to the role. Throughout her coaching career, Coach Mc has contributed to numerous conference championships, state runner-up finishes, and state championship teams while serving in both head and assistant coaching positions. Her passion for running began early in life and has carried her through collegiate athletics and into a career and lifelong hobby that she loves. While running has been a significant part of her journey, Coach Mc’s greatest joy is her family, including her husband, Dusty, and bonus daughter, Carter.
